B.A.S.I.C. Training
B.A.S.I.C. stands for Becoming a Servant in Christ. Students in grades 6th through 8th meet upstairs in our Youth Room each Sunday at 9:30am for an informal time of fellowship, discussion of real life faith issues and sharing in prayer. Contact Person – Eileen Anderson Confirmation 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students meet separately for confirmation on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00pm during the school year. We use a small group format with five to six students mentored by an adult guide. Our Power Nights for large group learning are packed with a wide variety of interactive and engaging learning opportunities including games, skits, videos, computers, and other activities. We have some great times together as we meet for large group learning, small group fellowship and servant activities and worship with the congregation. As we dig into God’s word, study the catechism, talk about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, and allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, we grow in our faith and relationships with Jesus and with each other.
